It's easy travel from most anywhere in the world.

 Flying is always the fastest! The closest major airport is the McGhee-Tyson located in Knoxville. Travel time is approximately 30 to 45 minutes from Knoxville to the Smokies depending upon traffic.  You may also fly straight into Sevierville. The Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge Airport is mainly for general and corporation aviation.  If you need more information, Call 865-453-8393.

Another way of getting here is by tour bus! Not only is it a great way to travel, tour buses line up great package deals! When you take the tour, you'll pay one price and receive a whole line up of theaters, attractions, food, etc....

And of course there's making the drive in your own vehicle, or renting one.  This is the easiest way to do "your own thing." Once you get here, you can decide what interests you and spend the whole day, or choose to visit several places before the day is through.  

How else can you get around once you get here?  You can walk!  Hiking is popular around here!  Driving your vehicle is always good! However, if you're really looking for adventure, rent a jeep, motorcycle, dune buggy, horseback, go-cart, or bicycle! (just to name a few.)  There are also shuttle buses. These take you most anywhere you want to go!  Take a helicopter ride, or do some whitewater rafting, or tubing.  The Smokies has lots of ways to keep you moving!
