TO BELIEVE IT OR NOT!!  That's the decision you must make as you walk through Gatlinburg's most incredible museum.  This attraction is home to some of the wildest information you've ever encountered!  It's a treasure brought forth from a  mission of  the travels of LeRoy Robert Ripley, an American cartoonist, Entrepreneur, and Amateur Anthropologist.  He also hosted a newspaper panel series, a radio show, and a television show which featured odd facts from around the world. This state-of-the-art attraction brings you face to face with some of the most unusual displays you've ever seen!

Not only does Ripley's Believe It Or Not have one of the city's most colorful and fascinating designs, the museum itself is bigger and better than ever!  It's an Odditorium  filled with unbelievably interesting artifacts from around the world! One of the museum's most interesting displays is was inspired by the many travels of Robert Ripley.  It's a section that accentuates the Amazon rainforest and some of his other travels around the world.  You'll also hear realistic nature sounds as you pass through this unique area.

Other highlights inside Ripley's Believe It or Not Odditorium includes a lovely work of art known as the Last Supper of Jesus. It was made from lent!  Explore an interactive video screen that tracks your every move!   The glimmer of the life-sze Volkswagen completely covered in sparkling crystals will surely catch your eye!  Become amazed by authentic shrunken heads! Digitally shrink your own head!  Experience mind-boggling visual illusions, and lots more.  If you're into snacks, you might enjoy trying some Cheese flavored crickets, or perhaps ant candy!  (Woof!!)

Ripley's Believe It or Not is a self-guided tour that takes approximately an hour and a half to go through. It offers  six themed galleries with more than 500 artifacts.  There are hands-on interactive exhibits.  This museum is wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant.  It's located downtown Gatlinburg at 800 Parkway.  This museum is within walking distance to many hotels, great shopping and other area attractions.
